Low growing spreading, perennial, aromatic sage.  Unique flowers on 2-3' spikes.  Attracts hummingbirds.  Spreads by rhizomes.  Nice fill-in between larger sages or shrubs. 


Flowering dependent on moisture.  Frost will damage flower but not foliage. 


Very adaptable, easy to grow.


Drought tolerant


Can take some summer irrigation.


Needs good drainage.
